Update: Inter-University Bridge Festival in Feb 2010!

Warwick university bridge club is a student-run society catering for players of all abilities - even complete beginners. We run a weekly informal duplicate at 2pm on Sundays in SUHQ (formally Union North), meeting room 4, where experienced players are on hand for informal teaching.

Our two teams compete in the Warwickshire league and for both local and national cups, including the Portland Bowl (the inter-university knockout). We regularly enter congresses around the country and recently have travelled to compete in Dublin.

Teaching is available for those who want to improve; as well as the Sunday sessions we run regular training events hosted by local experts, including some who have played at international level.

For those keen enough to want to play more than once a week many of our members play at Coventry Bridge Club, who are very welcoming to student players.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please be aware that all club sessions for the forseeable future will be held in SUHQ, meeting room 4, due to the Union rebuild. Hope to see a large turnout for the first session, Sunday 5th October, 2pm.
Please feel free to browse our website and contact us at su273@sunion.warwick.ac.uk if you wish!
